Saul Anuzis is a nationally recognized leader in the field of online political strategy.
As chairman of the Michigan Republican Party from 2005-2009, Saul developed a reputation as one of the most aggressive political communicators in the nation utilizing social networking, weblogs, and other cutting edge online outreach strategies. His accomplishments established him as one of the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) most effective messengers and propelled him to seek the RNC chairmanship in 2009.
RNC Chairman Michael Steele, recognizing Saul’s expertise, tapped him to head up the Transition Team on Technology and lead the RNC's first Tech Summit during which featured 7,000 activists from around the country participating online, via live video feeds or in person.
Chairman Steele also appointed Saul to serve as chairman of the newly created Committee on Technology providing advice and leadership to the RNC on the most effective online communications strategies. He also serves as a consultant the U.S. House of Representatives Republican Policy Committee chaired by Congressman Thaddeus McCotter.
Saul’s experience includes Newt Gingrich’s American Solutions, Jack Kemp’s 1988 Presidential campaign, chief of staff to Michigan Senate Majority Leader Dick Posthumus, chairman of the Michigan Senate Republican Campaign Committee, and the Michigan House Republican Campaign Committee.
Saul studied Economics at the University of Michigan in Dearborn. He is the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Lithuania. He and with wife of 24 years, Lina have 4 sons, enjoy skiing, scuba diving, Harley Davidsons, and sailing.
