As an account executive for a national consulting firm, she managed public affairs contracts for multiple Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 Companies. In that capacity, she developed an in-depth knowledge of energy, technology, and anti-trust issues. Her clients included Boeing, Microsoft, International Paper, Channel One, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Valerie has also been involved in numerous candidate campaigns for governor, Congress, and the state legislature.  Clients included Rescue California, which mounted the 2003 Recall of Democrat Governor Gray Davis, Darrell Issa for Governor, and Tom McClintock for Lt.
