Duane Dichiara has developed a reputation as a strategist who figures out how to win when you aren't supposed to. Over the last fifteen years, he has served as chief of staff for several members of the California legislature and served in senior positions in campaigns for president, governor, Congress, legislature, and city council. Duane now uses that experience and expertise as a partner at REVOLVIS to guide our clients to electoral victory.
Duane’s clients have included Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Congressman Brian Bilbray, Congressman Tom McClintock, State Senator Mark Wyland, State Senator Tom Harman, Assemblyman Martin Garrick, Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher, San Diego Building Association, and the California Republican Party.
Duane's statewide California experience included a role as state director for Romney for President, deputy political director for the 2003 Schwarzenegger for Governor campaign, field director for Victory 2000 (George W. Bush), and central regional director for Victory 1998 (gubernatorial candidate Dan Lungren).
Duane's expertise is direct mail. The American Association of Political Consultants has honored his mail with coveted "Pollie" award. He was also awarded the Republican Party’s “Lee Atwater Award” for strategy and innovative grassroots programs that won California’s heavily Democrat 78th Assembly District in the 2002 cycle.
Public service has always been a priority for Duane. He has served as chief of staff to three Republican legislators and in 2003 he was elected chairman of the Senate and Assembly Republican Chiefs of Staff Association. Duane also serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the California Republican Party and on the CALPLAN Committee, and was chairman in 2007.
Duane is married to Valerie and they have two children, Ella and Wills. They live in Sacramento and San Diego, California. Duane graduated from the University of California, Davis and earned his law degree at the University of San Diego School of Law.
